Kelsey Zerell will be Porter Sales' new 3M Merchandiser! She attended the University of Central Arkansas where she received her bachelor's degree in marketing. Kelsey loves traveling and is always up for a new adventure. She spends her days at home cooking for friends, listening to music, and playing with her miniature dachshund, Ralph. We are glad to have her on our team.
Dustin Sturgeon is the newest Outside Sales person for the Porter Electrical team. Dustin received an associate’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Morrilton and a bachelor’s degree from Arkansas Tech University. While going to school, he worked in pipeline construction, fabricating polyethylene pipe for natural gas flow. He currently resides in Atkins, Arkansas, where he spends most of his leisure time, hunting, fishing, and coaching little league baseball. We are glad to have him on our Bell & McCoy team.
Andy Neal, a licensed master electrician since 1992, has joined Porter Lighting and Controls as Outside Sales. Andy was in the Electrical Contracting business for 15 years prior to working in distribution for the last seven years. He gives back to his community as a volunteer fireman in Yellow County.
Chase Coale has joined our Bell & McCoy IT team in Houston. Chase has an associate's degree in Information Technology, and is working towards his Microsoft certifications. Chase will be a great asset to our team.

Chris Chapin has joined our supply team in Arkansas as Inside Sales Assistant. Originally from Dallas, Chris has spent the last few years working for a non-profit organization in Little Rock. He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in business in 2010. We are excited to have Chris as part of our team.
Danney McCoy has announced his retirement, effective May 30, 2014. Danney founded Bell & McCoy 42 years ago. His vision and passion for our company and this industry will always be a part of us. The Houston Electrical League honored Danney with their prestigious Legacy Award. A $2,000 scholarship will be given in his name every year to a deserving student. The Legacy Award honors individuals who have been supporters of the H.E.L. and made a substantial impact on our industry. Congratulations Danney Van McCoy!

We are honored with their recent announcement that from now on this prestigious award will be known as the Buddy Binyon Excellence Award. Buddy was one of the original partners at Bell & McCoy and was passionate about selling KingWire. Thank you, KingWire, for this great honor.
William Ellis "Buddy" Binyon, 68, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014. Buddy was born on March 4, 1945, in Odessa to Nicholas and Heloise Binyon. He enjoyed the water and all things about it. He especially enjoyed boating, fishing, "bobbing," sunrises, sunsets, night riding, and most of all his family and friends. Buddy's career in the electrical industry spanned over 40 years. He joined Bell & McCoy in 1972 as a principal owner. Throughout his time in the industry, he was considered a leader, mentor, confidante, trainer, supporter and, most of all, a friend. He was a passionate man who had a true spirit for living life to the fullest. He cherished his family. Survivors: His wife and best friend of 48 years, Irene; son, Jason and his wife, Gina; daughters, Paige Lonibos and her husband, Neil, and Stacy Binyon; grandchildren, Tanner, Trace and Ty Binyon, Ashton, Braeden and Cason Lonibos; brothers, Nick and his wife Beverly, and Gary Binyon ; sister, Tricia Adcox and husband, Charles; as well as loving nieces and a nephew.
