The newest member of our team, Sydney Pendleton, will be working with contractors in the Houston area. She will be a part of the electrical, lighting, and Integrated Solutions teams. Sydney was born and raised in Tomball, TX. While she is new to the lighting industry, she has been around construction most of her life, as her father is a developer and home builder. Sydney loves to hunt, fish, and spend time on the water. We are excited to have her.
Maricela Medina has joined Houston Lighting's application department. She is originally from Mexico, but moved to the U.S. 9 years ago. Maricela is currently enrolled at the Art Institute of Houston where she is working on a degree in interior design. We will congratulate her as she graduates in September, and grows with us in the lighting world.

Justin Watson has joined the Houston lighting team as a Project Manager. Justin has degrees in Military History and Systems Engineering from The US Military Academy at West Point. While in the Army, he completed his Project Management Professional Certification. Justin is married with 3 young children. We are excited to see him grow with our team.

Brad Nesmith has joined the Lighting and Controls team in Houston. He graduated from Auburn and Texas Tech, and is a former Navy flight instructor. Brad will be progressing through our rotational training program to an eventual role in outside sales. He looks forward to his new career with us.

Jim Mohr has joined our Houston Lighting team in the newly created position of Sales Manager. Jim spent the past 20 years in the lighting industry - 10 years as lighting lighting rep in the Dallas area and then 10 years in lighting manufacturing. Jim is married with three kids. We are excited to have him as part of our team.

Danney McCoy has announced his retirement, effective May 30, 2014. Danney founded Bell & McCoy 42 years ago. His vision and passion for our company and this industry will always be a part of us. William Ellis "Buddy" Binyon, 68, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014. Buddy was born on March 4, 1945, in Odessa to Nicholas and Heloise Binyon. He enjoyed the water and all things about it. He especially enjoyed boating, fishing, "bobbing," sunrises, sunsets, night riding, and most of all his family and friends. Buddy's career in the electrical industry spanned over 40 years. He joined Bell & McCoy in 1972 as a principal owner. Throughout his time in the industry, he was considered a leader, mentor, confidante, trainer, supporter and, most of all, a friend. He was a passionate man who had a true spirit for living life to the fullest. He cherished his family. Survivors: His wife and best friend of 48 years, Irene; son, Jason and his wife, Gina; daughters, Paige Lonibos and her husband, Neil, and Stacy Binyon; grandchildren, Tanner, Trace and Ty Binyon, Ashton, Braeden and Cason Lonibos; brothers, Nick and his wife Beverly, and Gary Binyon ; sister, Tricia Adcox and husband, Charles; as well as loving nieces and a nephew. Bob Miller has joined the Houston Lighting Team. Bob will be doing specification sales for Houston and the Valley. He joins us from Lutron and is fluent in Spanish.
Brooke Culp joined our team in Houston as receptionist for our lighting division. She has now moved into an Inside Sales Assistant role. Brooke has spent the last few years in the veterinary world working with animals, and is excited about beginning her career in the electrical business with us.
Cortney Jimenez joins the Bell & McCoy Lighting and Controls team in Houston as their newest Applications Specialist. She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech, having had a residential focus over the last few years. She will continue to extend her learning into the commercial world where she will be an integral part of the team.
